Rentokil North America’s Ambius unit has acquired Plantworks, Inc., a twenty-five year-old company that services the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, specializing in interior and exterior landscapes for hotels and commercial office buildings, as well as holiday décor.
This acquisition expands the company’s Ambius D.C. branch. Ambius is the world’s largest provider of plants, holiday décor, replica foliage and flowers for commercial environments. “Plantworks, Inc. has a long-standing reputation for offering premier corporate interior and exterior landscaping services and fits extremely well into our existing D.C. business. It strengthens our position as the leader in the competitive Washington market by making it possible to offer a broader range of plants maintenance and services to our clients,” according to John Myers, president and CEO of Rentokil North America.
Rentokil has also acquired Prairie Professional Pest Control, a pest control company providing services in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Rentokil North America is a unit of United Kingdom-based Rentokil Initial plc.
