KKR & C0. LLP has outbid other private equity bidders and now is in advanced talks to complete the acquisition of The Brickman Group, according to a report published by Reuters, quoting “people familiar with the matter.
The report stated that KKR, formerly known as Kohlberg Kravis & Roberts, outbid other private equity firms in the auction for Brickman, including TPG Capital LP and Blackstone Group LP. The report also said that negotiations had not yet been finalized and the outcome could still change. The deal is projected to value Brickman at approximately $1.5 billion.
