Florac, a French family office private equity firm, has made a minority investment in Sperber Landscape Companies (“SLC”). Florac is an investment vehicle wholly owned by the Meyer family and whose purpose is to exclusively invest the family’s funds.  The Meyer family is a branch of the Louis-Dreyfus family SLC is an emerging commercial landscaping services provider serving clients throughout the United States. (“Luke’s”) and Desert Classic Landscaping (“Desert Classic”), both previously owned and operated by FirstService Residential, a subsidiary of FirstService Corporation  Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Both Luke’s and Desert Classic are leading, single-source, year-round landscape service providers, offering a full suite of commercial landscaping solutions, including grounds management, landscape enhancement, irrigation, spray and arbor services. Yellowstone Landscape Acquires Native Land Design in Texas

Yellowstone Landscape has acquired Austin-based Native Land Design. Native land Design has operations  in Austin, Houston, and McAllen, Texas. “I met with a lot of great people during the process and Yellowstone stood out,” said Native’s founder, Ben Collinsworth. “We have very similar operations, people, software, processes and priorities. We are all very excited to continue in this journey with Yellowstone and believe we will be able to mutually benefit each other for years to come.” Native Land Design has current revenue around $15 million and a staff of approximately 250 people.

JMR Landscaping Acquires Thames Landscaping in Illinois

JMR Landscaping of Libertyville, Illinois, has acquired Thames Landscape and Design. Joseph M. Rossa (Joey), founder and owner of JMR Landscaping, credits John Thames with much of his success. Family friends since 2002, Rossa was a young boy andalways admired Thames’ business, wanting to help whenever possible.
