Boston-based Anvil Capital has completed the acquisition of Fowler Landscaping of Lynn, Massachusetts. The transaction was structured as an add-on acquisition for Leahy Landscaping, Inc., a portfolio company of Anvil Capital and Spring Capital. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Founded in 2000 by Jesse Fowler, Fowler Landscaping is a regional commercial and residential landscaping services company with many long-standing relationships.   Nurture Landscapes has acquired Demita Plants.  Demita, based in Denham near Uxbridge, was founded in 1979 by David Scammell. The business is made up mainly from plant displays, consisting of interior maintenance, hanging baskets and Christmas trees with a small amount of landscape maintenance and will sit within Nurture’s Plant Displays operation based out of Upminster, headed by Greg Basire. The majority of the work is in the London region, with their key contract being the hanging baskets for Fullers Pubs which will work in harmony with Nurture’s existing business for Greene King.
