BrightView Acquires Heaviland in Southern California and Clean Cut in Arizona

BrightView has acquired two commercial landscape maintenance companies, Heaviland Enterprises, Inc., in San Diego, Calif., and Clean Cut Lawns, LLC, in Mesa, Ariz. Nurture Landscapes Acquires McDermott Contract Services in the UK

Nurture Landscapes has acquired  landscaping business McDermott Contract Services near Glasgow. McDermott Contract Services, based in Lesmahagow just south of Glasgow, was set up by Marion Hamilton and Norman Clacher in 1997. They have current sales of £1.3 million, with the vast majority of their contracts being social housing with some industrial/property management. The teams delivering the service on the ground will all remain, ensuring clients get continuity of service with no disruption. The business will be folded into Nurture’s Scotland region enhancing its existing portfolio. Nurture also acquired Jordans Displays, an interior plant specialist business in Manchester.

Greenrise Technologies Acquires Southern Nurseries in Nashville Area

Greenrise Technologies, LLC (“Greenrise”), a Boyne Capital portfolio company, has acquired Southern Nurseries, Inc. (“Southern Nurseries” or the “Company”), a manufacturer and supplier of engineered soils to commercial and residential customers located in the Nashville, TN region.

Headquartered outside Nashville, TN, Southern Nurseries has served the specialized soils market in the Central Tennessee Valley since 1983. The Company provides branded biofiltration soils to contractors through the Holy Cow! Soils © brand. These highly engineered products are used to clean and absorb stormwater runoff, and are applied in the development of retention reservoirs, erosion control applications, and landscaping.
