Breckenridge Landscaping of New Berlin, WI has recently acquired Prairie Tree Landscaping located in Elkhorn, WI.
Prairie Tree Landscaping, established in 1984, is a full service Landscaping Company and Garden Center located on Hwy 12 just north of Hwy 43. Prairie Tree will remain at its current location although the new owners (Breckenridge) will not open a Garden Center this season but will offer bulk hardgoods for retail and wholesale purchase.The previous owner will stay on as a consultant and liaison to the community and will help maintain client relationships. The current office staff will also remain in place and Breckenridge will bring in additional office management staff. The landscaping crews will also remain in place. Breckenridge Landscape is a full service Landscaping Design, Construction and Maintenance firm located in New Berlin, WI. The company, looking to expand, has been seeking other firms to acquire for over a year. After just a few months of negotiation, Prairie Tree and Breckenridge reached an agreement and the transaction took place in April of this year.
Eric K Weishaar, President of Breckenridge Landscape will become President of Prairie Tree and will run both companies separately.
Breckenridge Landscape plans to seek another firm for a possible acquisition deal this coming season.
