RALEIGH, NC – January 25, 2017 – Canopy Lawn Care (www.canopylawncare.com) today announced the acquisition of Raleigh, NC based residential lawn care company, Grass Monkey. The acquisition, which includes Grass Monkey Owner Kevin Moser joining the Canopy team, is one of many recent moves announced by Canopy as they continue to make their mark on the lawn care industry.

Seeing exponential growth in 2016, the Raleigh startup has added more than 30 new employees, as well as numerous self-contained landscape maintenance trailers to their fleet. The company also recently took on an additional $2 million of funding during a late 2016 fundraising round. Next steps for Canopy include further growth throughout the Triangle area of NC, as well as expansion into the greater Charlotte metro market and future expansion throughout the Southeast.
