New State Capital has invested in Oakhurst, California-based ArborWorks.   ArborWorks is a professional tree care firm that specializes in utility line clearance and vegetation management across the West Coast.  ArborWork’s service area includes the entire states of California and Oregon. No details of the investment have been announced. Utility vegetation management companies have ndrawn significant interest from the private equity community in recent years. New State Capital is a New York-based  private equity firm focused on the middle market.

Bartlett Tree Experts recently acquired Living Tree, Inc., a tree care business that has operated in the West Chester, Pennsylvania area for over 20 years. The acquisition expands Bartlett’s footprint across North America and bolsters the company’s presence in southeastern Pennsylvania.
