Five Seasons Emerges as New Player in Commercial Landscape & Snow

Last week, Five Seasons Property Management announced the acquisition of Minnesota’s Reliable Property Management and Ohio’s T.R. Gear Landscaping.

Five SeasonsWho is Five Seasons Property Management?  We don’t know much about them.  The only executive we’ve heard of his Greg Ohdner who has the title of director of operations and is a former long-time Brickman Group executive.

They implied an interest in further Midwestern acquisitions.  Ohdner was quoted in a Lawn & Landscape online article as saying they are looking at acquisitions across the country.

Who is behind Five Seasons Property Management?  One clue is that their domain name, fiveseasonspm.com, is registered to The Asplundh Tree Expert Company.

Who is Asplundh?  You’ve seen their trucks all over the country.  You may know them as a large utility line clearing business.  According to Forbes, based on 2013 revenue of $3.1 billion, they are the 152nd largest private company in the U.S.A.  That makes them by far the largest service company in the green industry today.Asplundh

We can’t say for sure that Five Seasons is related to Asplundh, but it sure looks like it.
