ALPHARETTA, GA – September 24, 2014 – John Deere Landscapes, LLC has acquired The Stockyard Horticultural Supply, Inc. The Stockyard is a retail and wholesale nursery located in Arlington, Tennessee, a Memphis suburb.
“The acquisition of The Stockyard allows John Deere Landscapes to increase our presence in the Memphis metropolitan market. Since private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice acquired a majority interest in John Deere Landscapes in late 2013, it has completed a number of acquisitions expanding its distribution network.
