He has over 20 years of experience focusing on mergers & acquisitions within the lawn and landscape industry and has played a key role in well over 100 transactions.
He has spoken at a wide range of industry and corporate events sponsored by such groups as the National Association of Landscape Professionals, the Snow and Ice Management Association, Lawn & Landscape, Landscape Management, TruGreen, US Lawns, Lawn Doctor, and LMN.
He has written articles for Lawn & Landscape, Landscape Management, Snow Business, and TCI (Tree Care Industry) Magazine and is the author of Green Exit – Exit Planning for Lawn & Landscape Business Owners. He is frequently quoted in industry and general business publications.
He is a member of M&A Source and the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors. He holds the Master Merger & Acquisition Intermediary (MMAI) designation from MA Source. He is also an active member of the National Association of Landscape Professionals and the Tree Care Industry Association.
Prior to founding Principium Mergers & Acquisitions, he spent twenty years in public accounting and industry.
Ron holds B.S.B.A. and M.S. degrees in accounting from the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University. He has also completed the Certified Merger & Acquisition Professional (CMAP) Program at Kennesaw State University.
