The Greenery has expanded commercial landscape operations to the Greenville and Spartanburg, South Carolina area, with the acquisition of the assets of Rivertop Contracting’s South Carolina Division, headquartered in Greenville. Through the new branch, The Greenery will offer commercial landscape services to local businesses, municipalities and homeowners’ associations in the Upstate, similar to the services that the Company provides in the coastal regions of the state.
CEO Lee Edwards shared, “We are excited to bring our employee-owned company to the communities of Greenville and Spartanburg and look forward to providing quality commercial landscape services to the people and businesses in this area.” The expansion is a part of The Greenery’s recent growth into parts of Georgia, South Carolina and Florida. “Moving into the Upstate has been a goal of The Greenery for a long time,” said Edwards, “and we are proud that it is now a reality.”
For the past 12 years, The Greenery has transitioned into an employee-owned company, with over 800 employee-owners. The Company believes that employee ownership has proven to be the catalyst for gaining a successful position as a thriving leader in the landscaping industry.
