December 31, 2013 The ServiceMaster Company (“ServiceMaster”) announced today that the closing of the previously announced separation and spin-off of its TruGreen business, which had been targeted to close today, would be temporarily delayed. The announcement was made in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The announcement also stated that ServiceMaster is committed to the planned separation and spin-off of the TruGreen business as being in the best interests of all of its businesses.
