WSC & Company Invests in Botanical Designs in Seattle

WSC & Company, a Charlotte-based private equity firm, has invested in Botanical Designs, a Seattle-based landscape services business which offers both interior and exterior business landscapes and plant maintenance. WSC & Company supports a search fund model.  According WSC’s website, the search fund model provides capital and mentorship from experienced investors, operators, and executives to aspiring entrepreneurs in order to search for, acquire and ultimately own and operate a small business. H. Irving Grousbeck, a professor at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, originated the search fund concept in 1984.

Rotolo Consultants Expands to Florida, Acquires GPL Landscaping

 Rotolo Consultants, Inc. (RCI) has acquired GPL Landscaping of Miramar Beach, Florida.  This is RCI’s third announced acquisition in the last year.
