Heath Outdoor in Indianapolis has acquired True North Landscaping, another Indianapolis landscape company.
According to Heath Outdoor, Heath Outdoor and True North Landscaping have joined forces to provide a larger network of people and services that will better serve your landscaping needs and ideas. Heath and Travis Hurst will be the sole owners of the combined companies. Cory Gliege brings 20 years experience as founder and owner of True North, and will continue with True North, bringing value in a consulting & sales capacity. The company names and websites will remain separate. The team, invoicing and some of the marketing will be combined. Both teams will be working on projects together.
Cory Gliege commented on the acquisition, “For some time, I have known Heath Hurst, owner of Heath Outdoor. Both of our companies have grown rapidly; especially over the past 4 years. We have pondered partnering and what it would look like to bring our companies together before. In many ways, our companies both “feel” very similar with our culture and values, and we both do a ton of work in Downtown Indy and surrounding neighborhoods. Interestingly enough, both our locations are less than 2 miles apart (essentially on the same street!) ”
“For multiple reasons, the timing is perfect, and this is a wonderful thing for my family, for True North, and for Heath Outdoor. I have tremendous respect for the work ethic, integrity, and vision of Heath and Travis Hurst and the company they’re building. I will continue to remain involved in a consulting and sales capacity, along with operating our Nursery on a Wholesale level (a small piece of the business I have retained.) You may even catch me out pulling weeds or delivering plants to a jobsite if you look real close…I’m not going away any time soon (maybe not at all),” Corey added.
