Leading trade magazine releases its annual list of the industry’s 150 largest firms
SAN JOSE, Calif., Aug. 25 /PRNewswire/ — Lawn & Landscape magazine, a leading trade publication serving the professional landscaping industry, ranked Jensen Corporate Holdings, Inc. the 18th largest landscape company on its recently published Top 150 list. Ranked 35th in 2007 and 22nd in 2008, Jensen continues its upward climb among the distinguished Top 150 list.
To compile their 13th annual list, Lawn & Landscape requested that companies submit 2008 revenue and growth figures, number of employees, service/client mix and various other company criteria. Aimed at providing the industry with “the most comprehensive and accurate Top 150 List,” Lawn & Landscape seeks to not only recognize industry leaders in terms of size and scope, but to also spotlight innovative entrepreneurs who provide excellent quality of services.

Collective revenue of the Top 150 totaled $7.7 billion in 2008, with the top 100 making up $7.2 billion of this total. With the current recession, it is not surprising that aggregate profits of the largest companies were up by only .87 percent and that the Top 150 companies plan an average 1.54 drop in sales for 2009.
