New Way Landscape & Tree Service of San Diego acquired Tierra Verde Landscape in Orange County, effective August 28, according to a report in Lawn & Landscape. The acquisition followed the death of Allen Chariton, Tierra Verde’s founder, on July 28 after a lengthy illness.
According to the report, New Way retained 30 of Tierra Verde’s 74 employees and 35 of its approximately 137 maintenance jobs. Tierra Verde was a $4 million landscape business.
