Landscape Partners L.P. , an affiliate of Atlanta-based Argonne Capital Group, has raised $12.5 million in equity to invest in Schill Landscaping and Lawn Care Services, LLC. (Schill) , according to a Form D dated September 4, 2020, filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Schill is a commercial landscape management and snow removal business which operates under the name Schill Grounds Management. It is based in the Cleveland area and has three branches. It ranked 31 on Snow Magazine’s Top 100 list this year.
The SEC filing states that Landscape Partners L.P. “contributed the proceeds from the offering to a subsidiary in order for the subsidiary to acquire the outstanding equity interests of Schill Landscaping and Lawn Care Services, LLC.”
Landscape Partners’ directors are principals of Argonne Capital.
No announcement of the transaction has been made and no terms have been disclosed.
The transaction was reported by the Atlanta Business Chronicle on September 8.
