Nurture Landscapes Acquires Enterprise Plants in Essex, U.K.

UK-based Nurture  Landscapes has acquired Enterprise Plants, which focuses on interior plant care.

Founded in 1984 and based on a four acre site in Upminster, Essex, with approx. 50 employees, Enterprise will continue to trade under their own name until end of January, and will then rebrand as Nurture Landscapes from 1 Feb 2019.

The majority of Enterprise’s work is based around London and the Home Counties, consisting mainly of interior maintenance and plant displays, with a third of the business dedicated to commercial landscape maintenance.

The teams delivering the service on the ground will remain as is, so that clients get continuity of service with no disruption.

The Upminster depot and office will become a major centre for Nurture’s southern interior plants, Christmas trees and hanging baskets operation and will be overseen by Matthew Monkton, former MD at Enterprise.

Matthew Monckton, MD, Enterprise Plants says of the acquisition:

I’m genuinely excited that Enterprise Plants is now part of Nurture Landscapes, and we are now able to develop the team within a business that has always displayed best practice and been greatly admired within the industry. To ensure we built on Enterprise Plants successes we wanted to ensure it was taken on by a company that shared a similar client base to our own and importantly had a deep understanding of our client’s needs and we are delighted to have found that with Peter Fane and the Nurture Landscapes team.”

This will be Nurture’s third acquisition in 2018 and 19th acquisition to date.
