Greenrise Technologies Acquires Southern Nurseries in Nashville Area

Greenrise Technologies, LLC (“Greenrise”), a Boyne Capital portfolio company, has acquired Southern Nurseries, Inc. (“Southern Nurseries” or the “Company”), a manufacturer and supplier of engineered soils to commercial and residential customers located in the Nashville, TN region.

Headquartered outside Nashville, TN, Southern Nurseries has served the specialized soils market in the Central Tennessee Valley since 1983. The Company provides branded biofiltration soils to contractors through the Holy Cow! Soils © brand. These highly engineered products are used to clean and absorb stormwater runoff, and are applied in the development of retention reservoirs, erosion control applications, and landscaping.

Ambius reported acquisitions in Oregon and Florida.  These are the first acquisitions that Ambius, a large commercial  interior landscape business, has reported in a number of years. Harvest Partners Acquires Yellowstone Landscape Group from CIVC

Harvest Partners has acquired Yellowstone Landscape Group from CIVC Partners.  This represents a successful exit for CIVC which acquired Yellowstone approximately five years ago.  Yellowstone has made a number of acquisitions under CIVC’s ownership, including Phoenix-based Somerset Landscape, Albuquerque-based Heads Up Landscaping and Austin-based Native Land Design.  In an  interesting twist, Harvest is also the private equity owner of Neighborly, the franchising company formerly known as The Dwyer Group.  Among Neighborly’s brands are The Grounds Guys jin the U.S. and Canada and Countrywide Grounds Maintenance in the United Kingdom. Anvil Capital Adds Fowler Landscaping to Leahy

Boston-based Anvil Capital has completed the acquisition of Fowler Landscaping of Lynn, Massachusetts. The transaction was structured as an add-on acquisition for Leahy Landscaping, Inc., a portfolio company of Anvil Capital and Spring Capital. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Founded in 2000 by Jesse Fowler, Fowler Landscaping is a regional commercial and residential landscaping services company with many long-standing relationships.
