Tulsa, Oklahoma-based LawnAmerica has been acquired by TruGreen.
The acquisition was announced on the LawnAmerica website with the following statement: “LawnAmerica is pleased to announce that we have joined forces with TruGreen®.”
Landscape Management reported the acquisition on its website on October 11, 2019, noting that LawnAmerica had revenues of approximately $8.6 million in 2018.
In 2016, Brad Johnson, the founder of LawnAmerica, sold a majority interest in LawnAmerica to an affiliate of Denver-based Swingle Lawn, Tree and Landscape Care. When Swingle was sold to SavATree in 2017, LawnAmerica was not included.
